Installing Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 (Service Pack 1) will help your windows up-to-date. But, you'll need to validate your copy of windows in order to have this Windows 7 Service Pack to be installed on your PC.
The Service Pack for Windows7 can be found in 2 different versions.
1. Windows 7 SP1 Beta Version
2. Windows7 SP1 RC Version
Note that you have to uninstall these service packs (as it is Beta Version) once the final version of service pack (Original) is released.
