Ubuntu 10.10 has got many great UI features and yet another interesting thing is that it is free to use which is the reason why it became the most popular Linux distro. So if you love to use Mac's UI then use the Macbuntu which will install the recommended apps, icons and other necessary resources to make your desktop look similar to OS X.
If you use Lucid Lynx 10.04 or Meerkat 10.10, just run the below commands and get the look of Mac on Ubuntu.
Command for Lucid Lynx to get the Mac Look:
wget https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/macbuntu/macbuntu-10.04/v2.2/Macbuntu-10.04.tar.gz -O /tmp/Macbuntu-10.04.tar.gz
tar xzvf /tmp/Macbuntu-10.04.tar.gz -C /tmp
cd /tmp/Macbuntu-10.04/
./install.sh
Command for Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat to get the look of a Mac:
