Google India Displays D4G Winner's Doodle on Children's Day

This time, a 14 year old school boy has captured the attention of all by winning the Doodle 4 Google (D4G) Competition, which was based on "My Dream for India" and rocked the home page of Google Search Engine for India on November 14th i.e., Children's Day.

Akshay Raj who was a 9th class student studying in Mangalore has won the 2010 D4G competition, which started in September 2010 for students between Class 1 to 10.

Google has given Raj a Technology Starter Package and Rs.2 Lakh technology grant for his school, St Aloysius High School

One thing that made me feel bad is that Google has offered $15000 for the winner in United States and the school gets $25000 but the winner in India has been offered a technology starter package and the school gets only $4500 (Rs. 2 Lakh).

Please Do share the comments...What's your opinion of Google showing the difference between students in US and India.
