We previously spoke about BSNL 3G Tariffs and Now Tata Docomo being the first private telecom operator to start 3G services in India has now come up with ultra-high speed 3G USB data cards (HSDPA USB, HSUPA Modem and also HSPA USB Modem). Apart from the high-end smartphones like HTC Desire, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and Acer Ferrari, Tata Docomo is also promoting other tablets such as Samsung Galaxy and Dell Streak.
- HSDPA USB Modem is a blend of both modem and a mobile phone which delivers you a high speed surfing along with an option to send SMS Text messages. The Max.Download speed of HSDPA USB Modem is 3.6 Mbps however the upload speed is 384 Kbps. Cost : Rs.1999/-
- HSUPA Modem is an advanced version of HSDPA with a mix of both mobile phone and modem along with an option to make and receive voice calls & text messages. The max.download speed of HSUPA Modem is 7.2 Mbps whereas upload speed can be up to a maximum of 5.76 Mbps. Cost : Rs.2600/-
- HSPA USB Modem, yet another advanced version of HSUPA Modem which allows you to surf internet at a blazing speeds. It works both as a modem and a mobile. The max.download speed of HSUPA Modem is 21.6 Mbps and the upload speed is 5.76 Mbps. Cost : Rs.3500/-

Tata Docomo 3G rates are like day light robbery, its just too costly for the common man to afford. I think only a few luxurious ones are going to use the service.
ReplyDeleteBSNL is just the best in class as of now. At least BSNL has sufficiently good coverage in the metropolitan city areas.
BSNL Zindabad. Though a sarkari company, the service is good in Bangalore.
It has an excellent unlimited plan of 700/- bucks per month and without any hidden charges, fair usage policy, or capping of speeds after a certain amount of data usage limit etc, like how these private operators like Reliance, Tata, Airtel etc do it.

ReplyDeleteBSNL says 7.2 or 3.6 Mbps but the avg user is getting 0.5 or 1Mbps only..we all know how bsnl services and customer support are so i would suggest avoiding them as of now
