Backup and Restore Blogger Posts Using Blogger's Export and ImportFeature

Blogging has become more popular in the recent years with many people finding it as a suitable platform to show their skill and earn some money. Google's Blogger.Com is a free service that has brought a complete change in the blogosphere. Most of the budding bloggers start their journey first with Blogger and then move to other platforms like Wordpress.

As the frequency of adding new posts increase, taking backup of your blogger posts is necessary why because there is no guarantee that your blog will stay live all the time or may get deleted due to one or the other reasons. If that happens, all our efforts we put in making the blog popular will vanish in no time. To prevent this from happening, taking a complete backup of posts in regular intervals is the best solution. If something happens, we can simply restore the backup file.

How to Backup Blogger Posts in Blogger.Com?

  1. Login to Blogger.Com and Click on Dashboard.

  2. Goto Settings > Click on "Export Blog" option > Save the file (XML) on your desktop.
