BSNL Users those using the 3G connection have got a bad news as BSNL has slashed their 2G and 3G data plans and replaced all their unlimited plans by limited plans.
BSNL earlier used to offer unlimited 3G plan @ Rs.1359 which is now revised to 15GB of free data usage and the pulse rate to Rs.0.02/10kb.
The current BSNL 2G plans and BSNL 3G Tariff plans will stay till 17th Feb'll and the newly revised BSNL 3G Data plans will come into effect since 18 Feb 2011.

ReplyDeleteHi Manish, the speed differs a bit from 270 and 274 and another major diff is that 274 has unlimited browsing while for 270 plan, you'll be charged 0.02p for every 10kb that u use beyond the 6GB limit.

ReplyDeleteYa Manish, you can do so in both the plans. However, in plan 270 (as it is limited to 6GB) , the game will kill all the space you have in no time.

@Vikas, even if the plan is changed, existing customers can still download @ unlimited speed and bandwidth till the completion of 6 month period. You'll be charged only if you've changed the plan recently hearing this news. If you are still under the smae UL 4200 plan, there is no need to worry. Talk to the BSNL accounts officer directly and seek assistance.
ReplyDelete@pradeep, you need to confirm the cancellation of your existing 4200 plan with the BSNL people, Or else you're going to be charged like Vikas does. First cancel the existing plan and then upgrade to the new postpaid plan of your choice. This is just in case to be safe because all the BSNL plans have been messed up with the new change in the plans. Do consult the BSNL officials and get rid of your existing plan first.

all top BSNL officials are working for private players. If they kept this plan ultimately the private operators would be forced to do so. It is clear that they have been bribed to do this.

ReplyDeleteBSNL has a Govt undertaking has not the courtesy to inform the existing customer about the plan change. I was using Unlimited 274 for many months. immeditaley it was stopped. the vendor tried his best to recharge with 274. he tried to recharge with 275 3G plan it was recharaged- I got the message. and within a week again disconneted. now again i have to recharge it with 270. it is working but with a low speed. BSNL officers are the stupid and don't want the business. Now I have made up my mind to go for uninor 6 GB plan for Rs 90. Adieu to BSNL for Ever. I hope most of the people will react in the same manner. BSNL must be taught alesson so that it can not play foul with its customers in future.

i fwas running under an unlimited plan at 2500 rs 3g card...but., now i have recharged..with 3003 rs.. as the accounts officer said. that it would be for 15gb and we have to pay 3003 rs...

after i opened the message in inbox of data card.....it says its recharged for 1102 rs...
kindly advice as what is to be done...,? does rechrging by 3000 gives just the same amount or more i just want a clarity on this..kindly advice this..so that i can speak to that person..for the difference in amount..?

ReplyDelete@harsha: You should get 35 GB limit for 3003 rs..If that's not happened, its their fault. You need to talk to the bsnl officials on this.
ReplyDelete@aditya: These days BSNL is having a very tough time. A lot of users are complaining about the fall in their net speeds. Talk to your local BSNL officials to solve this issue. It doesn't req any tricks because it's the fault with BSNL and not with your system or net.
