ITunes have become so popular with the release of Apple Products like iPhone, iPad, iPod etc..It will be used to transfer music from computer to device or viceversa and also to update latest iOS versions.
Whenever you minimize the iTunes, it will stay in task bar. This will eat your taskbar space when we have lot of other tasks to deal with. So if you want to minimize the iTunes into system tray instead of task bar, you'll need to make some changes.
- Open "iTunes" on your PC.
- Goto "Edit" -> "Preferences" -> Click on "Advanced" Tab
- Check mark the two boxes named as "Show iTunes icon in system tray" and "Minimize iTunes window to system tray".
Perfect. Now, whenever you click on minimize button, the iTunes will directly goto system tray instead of task bar thus saving lot of space for other applications.
