It's a dream for all Adsense Publishers to increase their Adsense CPC (Cost Per Click) Rate. FYI, Adsense have recently posted a similar topic on their blog. However, they stated that "we can't quantify a good or bad CPC".
Tips to Increase Adsense CPC
- When creating Ads in the Google Adsense Dashboard, remember to enable your Ad Units to show both Text + Image Ads. This will increase the no: of advertisers competing for your Ad Space. If you want to enable this setting to already created Ad Units, then see how to edit all your ad units in Bulk.
- Don't include huge list of filter's which sometimes will lower your revenue by blocking the highest paying adsense ads. Watch the video below to know about the Ad Auction and Enabling the most competition for your Ad Space.
- Set Up custom channels for Placement targeting to increase the no: of ads competing for your site.
- Remember that the advertisements placed in the first line of your HTML code will show high paying ads. To make use of this scenario, always place the best adsense ad formats in the first place.
- Use Section Targeting in Adsense to get relevant advertisements on your website.
Important: "Never ever try to manipulate the standard behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads in any way that is not explicitly permitted by Google". Go through the AdSense program policies in case you've any doubt.
