Sleep Mode is the terminology mostly used in the computer world. The sleep mode is useful for people who are away from the computer/laptop for longer than expected, as enabling the sleep mode keeps the battery from wearing down unnecessarily. However, there are sometimes when you need your computer to stay on.
How to Stop PC/Laptop from going to Sleep Mode on Windows XP?
- Right-click the desktop and select "Properties"
- Click the "Screen Saver" tab and then click on "Power" button at the bottom.
