Forgetting the BIOS password is a very common thing and to reset the BIOS settings, many people try to remove the CMOS battery and place it after 5 minutes. But, this may not be an easy option for all.
So here is a pretty interesting tool named "CMOS De-Animator", a free and easy to use application to Reset the BIOS settings from the Windows GUI itself. This BIOS utility runs on all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows Operating systems except Windows 95/NT for which you can use the old version of De-Animator (V1.0).
What does CMOS De-Animator v2 do?
The free utility invalidates the checksum of your system’s CMOS memory from Windows which will reset all the BIOS settings to the default state. There are 3 backup options in this tool – clear, save and restore the CMOS RAM.
