How To Extract All The Keywords From Google Analytics?

Google Analytics is the best and free web analytic tool which tracks your website visits and present them in a segmented way. You can also know what keywords are driving traffic to your website. By having the insights of your traffic, you can analyze whether it is useful or not.

Google Analytics however doesn't allow you to export more than 500 rows at a time. So here is a work around to export more than 500 rows from Google Analytics tool.

  1. Log in to Google Analytics -> Select the Report you require to download.

  2. Click on Export and Copy the CSV link address

  3. Append "&limit=5000" to the end of the above copied address without quotes
    Ex: https://www.google.com/analytics/reporting/export?fmt=2&id=36014144&pdr=20110308-20110407&cmp=average&rpt=KeywordsReport

    Now adding &limit=5000 will make the URL as

    https://www.google.com/analytics/reporting/export?fmt=2&id=36014144&pdr=20110308-20110407&cmp=average&rpt=KeywordsReport&limit=5000
  4. Now enter the link in the URL bar to download the document containing more than 500 rows.
Note: You can replace the number "5000" by any digit you require.
