As stated by many geeks, iPhones and iPads are silently tracking our locations and logging info while we sync our gadgets or backup the files. Another scary thing is that this tracked information is not encrypted and can be accessed by anyone who gets their hands on our devices or laptops (where the data is saved).
The only solution in-front of us is to encrypt the backup and location information with a hacker-proof password so that a third-party person cannot view our details even though he'd got the files.
How to Encrypt iPhone/iPad tracking locations and backup info?
- Plug in your iDevice into your computer using the cable and connect to iTunes.
- Open the iTunes Menu and select your device.
- Scroll down a little until you find the button that says "Encrypt iPhone (or iPad) Backup" and click on it.
- Next, enter a strong password.
