Microsoft Telnet, a program that enables you to connect with a remote computer by logging in. A very useful software in many critical situations.
By default, Telnet client will not be available on Windows 7 though there are many free telnet softwares for use. However, if you are a fan of Microsoft, then here is the step by step process to enable Microsoft Telnet in Windows 7.
How to Install Microsoft Telnet Clent on Windows 7?
- Login to your computer as an Administrator
- Goto Start -> Control Panel -> Programs and Features
- On the left side of "Programs and Features" window, you find an option "Turn Windows features on or off". Click on it. A small additional window will pop up.

- Scroll down the list until you find the "Telnet Client" option and check mark it. Next click "OK"
Note: once it is enabled, you can run it using the default command promt.
