How to Disable Facebook Auto-tagging Feature?

Facebook recently introduced Image Auto tagging Feature. Though this auto-tagging feature is useful for many, some find it annoying when they get tagged a lot. If you want to disable Facebook auto-tagging feature, just follow the below steps.

1. Click on "Account" Menu on the top right corner -> Select "Privacy Settings".
   
2. Scroll down until you see the option "Customize Settings" and click on it.
   
3. On the next page, scroll down to the option "Things Others Share" and beside "Suggest Photos of me to Friends" option, click "Edit Settings".
   
4. A pop-up window will appear. Now, click on the drop down menu and change it to "Disabled".
   

That's it! Now, your photos will not be automatically tagged.

If you want to enable the auto-tagging feature in the future, simply follow the steps above and in the last step, change the option to "Enabled" instead of "Disabled".
