Convert Flash SWF to HTML5 Using Google Swiffy

As you know, there are many devices that do not support the use of flash content (Ex: iphones and ipads). But, you can easily convert the flash files (SWF) to HTML5 files in order to use them on such devices.

Google Swiffy is a pretty useful web application that can convert Flash SWF files to HTML5 for free without having to download any expensive software.

All it suggest is to use a SWF5 file to get better results while conversion. Simply upload your .swf file and Swiffy will provide you with a HTML5 file download link. The HTML5 file can be used in all web kit browsers like Google Chrome and Safari.

  2. I don’t think Flash is the one that requires a lot of computing power, it’s the fact of decompressing and decoding a very complex data in real time called “Digital Video”, Flash makes transparent the hardware calls implementation for the developers, with swf to html5 converter you will need to deal with conversion of flash to html5 players by rendering a lot of hardware engines, then multi-platform apps will be a true headache for the developers, the same problem than always: HTML hacks for each browser but with a more complex technology: HTML5
