Many people (like me) aren't comfortable with using the Microsoft Outlook mail client for some or the other reasons. And so I thought of sharing my experience of using Outlook Emails from withing the Gmail interface. After following this tutorial, you can easily setup (Add) Outlook in Gmail so that you can receive all the Outlook emails in your Gmail inbox as well as reply to the same mails from it.
Gmail actually has the option of importing any POP3 enabled email accounts into Gmail's interface. Once it is set up, you could easily receive, read and respond to your emails, just as you once did in your POP3 enabled email client such as Microsoft Outlook.
How to Redirect Microsoft Outlook Emails to Gmail?
- Login to your Gmail account > Click on the "Gear" icon that can be found at the top-right corner of the page and Select "Mail Settings".
- Click on "Accounts and Import" tab > Now click on the button that says "Add POP3 email account".
- A pop-up window will appear like as shown below. Now, give your outlook email id in the text box meant for "Email Address" and click "Next Step". It will automatically populate the best (preferred) settings for your email provider or else you can input the right POP server manually (if the given is wrong).

- In the next window, input your Outlook email password & then click the "Add Account" button. You can also choose to import all the emails to a particular Label by checking the box that says "Label incoming messages".

- Gmail will now import all the emails from your Outlook into the Gmail dashboard.
