With recent addition of Google+ features, Facebook too has rolled out a new "Subscribe" button which allow you to subscribe to, or follow, people and read their posts which are made public. Once you subscribe to anyone's profile, you can receive all the public updates from that person in your feed. Except that, you won't get to see his private posts unless you're a friend of him. This improves the security of this feature.
