HTC's cheapest android phone, HTC Explorer (Pico) is coming to India. The mobile is expected to be priced at Rs.10,000. The word cheap doesn't mean to give a bad impression to the HTC brand. In-fact its a value for money phone and not a cheap phone because of the specifications that are available in the HTC Explorer which are damn good for such a low price.
Well coming to the specifications of HTC Explorer (Pico),
It is powered by a 600MHz processor, Android Gingerbread OS and 384MB of RAM. The mobile has a 3.2" HVGA touchscreen with resolution of about 320 x 480px.
Interestingly, HTC Explorer has got a 5 megapixel camera on the rear side which is amazing for such a low price android mobile. The other specifications are not yet revealed but you can get to know about them on the day of it's launch (September 29).
Let's wait & see if HTC Explorer could make waves in the android mobile market giving tough competition to the other brands in its price range.

Huh! I don't think you can give it the medal of being cheapest. HTC's wildfire also sells around at the same price.
ReplyDeleteHTC is a nice phone maker, and anyone who is looking for a nice build will definitely go with HTC.
Its a nice phone, and maybe I'll be the next customer of it too :P
Just 4 days ago,I picked up HTC Explorer. Features are amazing. Value for money. But sadly...the battery backup is disastorous! Doesn't last for half a day...! couldn't take 60calls(avg call duration 2mts. & 15 messages. All this without even browsing & gaming. Wondering what will happen, when I start browsing & gaming!!! wrong choice!
ReplyDeletethanks for your feedback bhaskar. The battery backup is too worse in Pico.
