SnagIt (paid software) is the best desktop software to capture screenshots or record videos of the events on our computer. However, many people may not be able to afford it as it is a bit expensive. But, there is no need to worry at all as there is a better & free alternative to SnagIt software.

Its definitely the best SnagIt alternative as it has all the features that were available in SnagIt but with a few limitations.
The features of the software include:
