Blog commenting is an excellent source of getting one way links pointing back to your site which also gives traffic if you write the comments well.
The more the relevant links, the higher your ranking will be. There are 2 types of blog commenting techniques
1. Do-Follow Blog commenting
2. No-Follow blog commenting (Seems interesting! Right? then Read the complete post…)
When you shout a comment on some one’s blog, you need to enter your name, email address and a website URL into a form in order to write your comment.
Take a brief look at the comments that are shot before yours. Notice the names they are using for commenting. Are they using their real name or a pen name? If they are using their real name, so should you. If not, then try to use your targeted keyword instead of the real name. The URL you entered will be incorporated with your name. So using a keyword will boost your ranking.
Below are a few working guidelines that you can follow while commenting on blogs:
1. Comment on relevant niche blogs to yours. Because, the weight age is more if you get links back from relevant sites than non-relevant ones.
2. Make an useful comment that will be helpful to others. No one likes to see/approve “superb blog” or “thanks for sharing” or “see my blog” in the comments section.
3. Comment only when you can add some more useful information to the topic discussed in the post/previous comments else go for another one.
4. Use deep linking of posts in comments. That means if you have written a similar post on your own blog that is relevant to this, then point back to that post. It is easier for the search engines to crawl your blog and it also makes the readers to read your version too.
There are few people who only comment on “do-follow blogs”. But, I suggest you to comment on all blogs that are relevant to yours. May that be a do follow blog or a no-follow blog.
The reason behind this is “do follow commenting” will boost your rankings in Google and not other search engines like yahoo and Bing as their search algorithm is completely different. Bing (previously MSN) rely mostly on these blog commenting, let it be follow or no follow. So, why not use the no-follow commenting to boost your rankings in MSN and Yahoo which sends genuine traffic to your website.
How to find the blogs that are relevant to yours? It’s so simple.
1. Do a Google search of your niche (Ex: Blogger Tips), then you will get a list of blogs that are relevant to yours. Open them and post the comments following the guidelines above.
2. Join a bloggers community where you can find many blogs which are categorized.
3. You can also use a free software called Comment Kahuna (commentkahuna.com)

Good advice, especially where the nofollow blogs are concerned. It’s not all about funnelling PR, it’s about directing traffic.
There’s plenty of blogs that I’ve found by following a comment link back.
Really great resource.. Easy to understand.
Here is some more points…
How Search Engines Use NoFollow
Search engines each interpret NoFollow in their own way. Here’s a list of the major search engines, and their actions when a NoFollow link is seen:
# Google follows NoFollow links but simply does not pass on credit to an outbound link that is tagged with the attribute.
# Yahoo follows NoFollow links and excludes the link from all ranking calculations.
# MSN may or may not follow a NoFollow link, but it does exclude it from ranking calculations.
# Ask.com does not adhere to NoFollow.
I really liked this post.It will surely help to get one way back link by blog comment posting techniques……Can u suggest me how we can get early back links from directory submission….please suggest me a free high PR dir list…..

All very good tips, and I’ll be voting this up on Sphinn. I would like to add another reason to ignore the whole NoFollow-DoFollow thing sis that search engines are expert pattern identifiers. If 80% of blogs feature NoFollow comments and your comments are 80% on DoFollow blogs, what does that tell the search engines spam-detection team?

If you want, be one of the first to blog about it. I am sure you know how difficult it is getting visitors to a new site. Your help spreading the word would be greatly appreciated!
thanks.
I have seen your site. It’s good but try to reduce ads & add more related sites so that the user gets what he needs. All the best for your new site.
