Recently, Myvouchercodes.com conducted a survey to find out the most viewed logos during an average day and 1,654 people participated in the survey who answered to the question “which logo do you see the most during an average day?”

The results of the survey was interesting! Google’s Logo has conquered the first place with 34% voting. Microsoft is the second most viewed logo with 15%.

The survey has even unveiled that 53% of the people are using Google as a Spell Checker and 25% of the people had installed a Google search Toolbar into their browser.

The Top 10 most viewed logos of all times in response to the question “which logo do you see the most during an average day?”

1. Google – 34%
2. Microsoft – 15%
3. Facebook – 11%
4. Apple – 9%
5. Coca Cola – 8%
6. BBC – 7%
7. Sony – 5%
8. Sky – 4%
9. Twitter – 3%
10. Blackberry -2%

An interesting fact of this survey is that 47% of the people have admitted using Google as their homepage and they view the logo whenever a new Google logo comes live.

And as of today i.e., on September 6th, Google displays Bouncing Balls as their logo in Google.co.Uk domain which is superb.

Now-a-days, many of us have Orkut Profiles to connect with our friends and share our views online. But, some people after few days may want to delete their orkut accounts permanently for some or other reasons.

In order to cancel/delete an orkut profile, you need to login to your orkut account and then click this link, it will then display the below message

Please read this carefully – You are trying to remove orkut from your Google account. You will not be able to access orkut.com. Your profile will be deleted. If you decide to become an orkut.com member again in the future, you will need to create a new profile. Are you sure you want to delete orkut ? Yes, I want to permanently remove orkut from my Google account.

Now, click on the CheckBox and proceed to ‘Remove Orkut‘ button. Your orkut account will then be deleted permanently. A confirmation message will be displayed saying “Orkut has been removed from your account“.

That’s it. Note that if you’d like to use your orkut profile again, you’ll have to create a new account from the scratch to do so.

So, first decide whether you really need to delete your orkut account permanently and then delete it. Also remember that you cannot delete orkut account without knowing password or answering the security question.

Ping, a new feature that is updated in iTunes 10 software, is a social networking service to interact with people and artists with similar liking/taste for music. Once you’ve setup your account on ping you’ll be able to follow others (celebrities/artists/friends) to discover new music, add/read reviews of songs and music albums through ping network.

How to Setup Ping Account in iTunes?

1. Open iTunes 10 (download the latest version of iTunes from apple.com/itunes)

2. In the iTunes store, click ‘Ping’ button which you can view at the top navigation bar.

3. Now click ‘Turn on Ping’ button on the next screen. Enter your contact details on ‘Create My Profile’ page (your name, avatar photo, description and more).

4. Then You can choose your favorite music at the bottom of ‘create my profile’ page. Click ‘Continue’ to get started with Ping service.

5. Next step involves finding friends/artists to be added to your Ping network. You can easily search for Facebook friends, celebrities, artists and other people related to music of your choice.

6. Click Follow button once you find a person of your choice. It will then send a friend request to that person. Once your friend request is accepted, you can follow and comment on each other’s iTunes purchases, reviews, upcoming events and music liking.

Clicking on the Like button will allow you to add quick response which is just similar to that on Facebook. The Ping service of iTunes will let you create/join communities of different people with similar music taste.

Is Google Adsense Income is equal to the Income that you get from your Regular Daily Job? Can Google Adsense Earnings become your main source of income?

The answer for most of the people is NO. The ad sense income of many people doesn’t even exceed $100 a month. You’ll find fluctuations in your earnings if you work for Google Adsense. Sometimes a single click may give you $10 and sometimes even a thousand clicks won’t get you $2 atleast.

This is the actual reason why most of the people fear of taking Professional Blogging as their full-time career if they depend on Adsense as their main source of income. So they try to earn earnings using a combination of Google Ad Sense and affiliate marketing. Even though they are confident of getting a click every day, they are less confident of their earnings of that click.

Why Most People Say “Adsense clicks but No earnings“? What causes the difference in cost per click?

1. Non organic traffic (Traffic that comes from Referring Sites)

If you mostly rely on traffic from social bookmarking websites like Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon etc.., you will find that the click-through rate is very low. You may get 1000 visitors to your article, and only 2 clicks or even you get more clicks, the cost per click will be less compared to that of the traffic coming from Search Engines (Organic Traffic)

Reason: The actual fact here is, people coming from social bookmarking sites are used to watching advertisements. So they only scan your article and avoid clicking on the advertisement. So, the best traffic is always the Organic Traffic that comes from Search engines.

2. Countries of the Website Visitors

The visitors region also plays a major role in Ad sense Income. If your visitors are mostly coming from the Far East countries, you’ll notice that the average click earns less than $0.005. This is because the advertisers are less willing to pay for visitors coming from these areas (where people not willing to buy more/online). That is why you get less Adsense earnings per click.

So make sure you get visitors from the richest countries (Northern America and Europe), where the average click rate ranges from minimum of 20 cents to a maximum of $10 (sometimes even more) per click.

3. Content of your Website

As everyone say “Content is the King”, content always play a big role in determining your Google Adsense income. The high paying adsense keywords are usually insurance, banking and attorney related. But, If you love to talk about cats and dogs or your personal stuff, your articles may not have the potential to attract advertisers.

So It is better to focus on high paying adsense niches as the clicks from those niche sites normally pay more.

Note: Try to write a niche that you are interested in rather than writing for niche that you’re not familiar with or not interested. General and Entertainment blogs generally draw 1000s of visitors but the CPC of those websites is very low as the advertisers are less likely to bid high in these niches.

4. Domain Age

Google is unlikely to place expensive advertisements on a new website and so the new bloggers get paid very less for the clicks on their blogs. The age of the domain is the actual reason for this. The more old your domain, the more $ for your clicks.

Solution: Along with writing for your own blogs, also Write for Revenue sharing sites like Hubpages, Squidoo… which normally pay more for your clicks. And another important thing here is you also get quality backlinks from these sites which adds more value to your blogs.

A Very few hardworking and creative bloggers and webmasters manage to make high earnings from Google Adsense. It is possible only if you work hard and be creative.

5. Ad Formats & Positioning of Advertisements

The Bigger the Ad, the more it is visible to the visitors. The first ad in your website always pays high. So try to place your first ad at the position where people will notice it. [Read more on Best Ad Sense Ad Formats]

Always remember that Google Adsense program is not a get rich quick scheme. The longer you stand, the higher it pays. Don’t expect High earnings from Google Ad Sense in the beginning days itself unless you’re writing for a High Paid Adsense Niche.

Wish to create iPhone Ringtones using iTunes? Creating Ringtones from mp3 to AAC has been made easy now.

Import a song you wish to make ring tone for. Right click on it and click on “get info”. In the option tab , choose the start and stop time for your ringtone. Try to keep the length lower than 35 seconds.

Now right-click on the song and select “Convert To AAC“.

Now right-click on the newly created AAC file and select “show in explorer”. Change the name (Rename) of the file with extension .m4r

For example if your song name is waka waka.aac, rename it to waka waka.m4r

That’s it! your ringtone is ready to be used in your iPhone. Now copy the song to your iPhone Using iTunes.

What if your computer requires formatting as it is affected with virus and you don’t have a DVD writer or CD writer installed on your windows? Then purchasing a new DVD writer would be the only available option to you. But some motherboards (old versions) require drivers in order to make the DVD writer work. So the only option we have here is boot from a USB Flash drive or pen drive.

Now, how do you make a Bootable Flash drive?

For this task to be done, you need a Pen drive of minimum 4GB capacity or more for windows 7 and 2GB for windows XP. Also you need a CD/DVD copy of your required OS.

1.Format your Pen Drive in FAT format.

2.Download WintoFlash (free) and install it.
3.Open the installed “WintoFlash” program and enter the windows file path of where the ISO of Windows is located and in the second tab insert the address of the USB drive (see figure below)

4.Click on next to complete the set up.

That’s it! Your Flash Drive has become Boot-able now. Now you need to enable First boot priority (in BIOS) to Flash Drive and restart it.

Note that the installation of Windows OS into your Pen drive may take from few minutes to more depending on your Pen Drive Speed as well as the Speed of your Computer.
