This problem is actually caused by the raspppoe.sys file which is found in the “C:\Windows\System32\Drivers” folder. So replacing this file with a new one will solve the problem.

Download raspppoe.sys (Unzip the Folder and Place the raspppoe.sys in the folder : C:\Windows\System32\Drivers)

Note: Try to rename the previous raspppoe.sys file instead of deleting. It will be helpful in future if something goes wrong.
