Hi – where did you get those numbers on “links needed for certain PR” from? They show what I always suspected – an exponential relationship between PR and number of links.
If you know the number of links (x), you can estimate your PR with the formula
PR = LN(x)/1.6379-0.464

Basic link building strategies suggests that you make an incoming natural link. Artificially created links will result in penalty and will drop a websites rank. Requested links are the best link you can have, since search engine puts a high regard on link that people voluntary link to because of the websites content.
Hi Michael, That’s true. SE’s weigh more on natural links (1 way) than the unnatural i.e., 2 way and 3 way backlinks.
no a SEO only optimizes your pages to get higher rank. you have to pay the web designer to make the webpages, then the SEO will add extra coding that will compatibalize your webpage with serach engines in order to rank higher
