Here’s what all you need to keep in mind before buying an inverter.

1. What is your usual power requirement in the event of a power cut?

This will depend on your power requirement in the case of a power cut. Do you wish to use only lights and fans? Or the television and refrigerator should run as well when there is no electricity? Each appliance has a specific wattage which needs to be added up to determine your power requirement.
